Notice of Nepal Oil Corporation Limited regarding open competitive written examination to be conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC): 

The following vacant posts in Nepal Oil Corporation Limited are selected through open competition to fill up the posts on a permanent basis from eligible Nepali citizens who are interested and can apply online at https://erecruitment.nepaloil.org.np/ within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice in Gorkhapatra and double the fee. Details:

1) According to the vacancy notice, the examination center for all the posts will be held in Kathmandu. Written examination for all posts will be conducted by Public Service Commission. The written examination program will be published after receiving it from the Public Service Commission.

2) Age limit: Unleveled, in case of levels 4 and 5, 18 years and not exceeding 35 years, and in case of levels 6 and 7, 21 years and not exceeding 35 years. But in the case of women and disabled candidates, the upper age limit should not exceed 40 years by the last date of application. However, there will be no age limit for permanent employees in the service posts of the corporation.

3) Examination fee for applying candidates: For Level 10 Rs. 1,200, for levels 8, 7, and 6 Rs. 1,000, for Tier 5 Rs. 400, for Tier 4 Rs. 300, and for Non-Category Rs. 200 is there. But if applying for the same post in more than 1 Post Rs. 400, for level 5 Rs. 200, Rs.150 for Tier 4, and Rs. 100 additional exam fees will have to be paid.

4) The duration of double Fees will not be counted for the purpose of age, educational qualification, experience period, and other qualifications.

5) Should have acquired the prescribed educational qualification within the last date of application. Must have received a certificate or transcript from the institution or university that provides educational qualifications.

6) Candidates who have studied in foreign institutions should have their qualifications determined by the relevant authorities.

10) According to Regulation 4.2 (10) of the Corporation’s Staff Administration Regulations, 2063 (with amendments), the employees who have once enjoyed the reservation facility in the service of the Corporation cannot get any reservation facility again. Also, the working employees have to self-declare whether they have/have not received the reservation facility.

Things to be considered while applying for the application form:

9) As the examination fee and attached documents will be verified by the corporation, it will take some time.

10) Once submitted, the application form cannot be edited again If the prescribed examination fee is not paid, if the online application form is filled by submitting false details, or if the certificate is insufficient as per the details, the application form will be canceled automatically.

11) Information that the application has been rejected or accepted will be communicated via SMS (NTC / Ncell mobile number only). And the information can be viewed in a few days by logging in. Since the following service, group, sub-group, and level positions (open and inclusive) for the local government service should be filled through competitive examination; Applications are invited from the qualified candidates as per below.

Candidates selected from the competitive examination will be recommended for local-level designation according to the order of preference. Before using the service of ConnectIPS, you have to go to www.connectips.com and sign up once, as well as link the account of the bank with which you have an account among the banks connected to the system and get verified from that bank.

Method of payment of cash draft through bank:

After submitting the form through the Commission’s online application system, click on the ‘Ok’ button that appears and click on the ‘Pay’ link in the list you have applied for. Then select the bank you want in the box that appears and select “Offline Payment” and click on “Next”. On the page that appears, click on the “Click here to generate voucher” button.

Then your voucher will be generated. You can print the voucher and go to the nearest branch of the selected bank and submit the voucher and pay the amount. Since the banks will not understand the city without the voucher, the voucher must be printed and taken along with it. Deposits can be made from all branches of the mentioned banks across Nepal.

Application fee submission period:- Mention the Master ID and transaction code number received by the candidate after submitting the application through online mode.

Note: In the case of applicants who have studied other subjects related to agriculture other than Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science (BSc Ag); A certificate of equivalency must be submitted from the relevant university for studying at Bachelor’s level (BSc Ag) in Agricultural Science.

Notice for open and inclusive examination:

1) Should not be disqualified according to the prevailing civil service law (Section 10 of the Civil Service Act, 2049).

2) For the posts which will be conducted in two stages i.e. first stage and second stage, only the candidates who have passed the first stage will be allowed to participate in the second stage.

3) The first stage open and inclusive written exam will be held on the same (sitting) date and time.

4) While publishing the results of the selected candidates from the open and inclusive written examination, all the service groups will be published in alphabetical order.

5) Candidates selected from the written test must fill the priority order of the local levels before participating in the group discussion and interview. Candidates who do not pass the priority order will not be allowed to participate in the interview.

6) The candidate’s inclusive group will be maintained according to the existing rules of the Commission among the eleven inclusive groups mentioned by the candidate in the application form.

7) The program will be decided in such a way that the candidates who are selected in the open and inclusive group and more than one inclusive group for group discussion and interview from the written test will participate in the group discussion and interview only once. The score of the group discussion and interview will be calculated in all groups (open and inclusive) of the candidate passed.

8) Recommendations for appointment will be made according to the merit order obtained after all the tests and the priority order of the local level chosen by the candidate.

  1. a) In the case of advertisements requiring a period of experience, the minimum period of service must have been completed by the last date of receiving the application for the relevant post. Double duty period shall not be counted for the purpose of age, educational qualification, experience period and other qualifications.
  2. b) Since there is no provision to become a candidate in the same level of education, the application of such a candidate is not accepted.

  1. A) Towards services other than health services:

But in the case of a person who has obtained a bachelor’s degree, the experience period will be reduced by two years.

  1. b) Towards health services:

Must have obtained the minimum qualifications mentioned in Schedule-6 of Nepal Health Service Regulations, 2055 and must have obtained five years of experience at the authorized level of the relevant field. But in the case of a person who has obtained a bachelor’s degree, the experience period will be reduced by two years. (e) The experience will not be recognized if it is mentioned to work part-time in the appointment letter or contract itself.

(f) Temporary or contract service experience of less than one year shall not be counted.

(g) The experience of serving at the official level while holding the post at the assistant level will not be recognized.

(h) If the official level is not opened from the designation mentioned in the letter of appointment or the contract, the relevant body shall submit a letter certifying that the position is of the official level.

(i) If the above-mentioned proof documents are not with the candidate at the time of application, the application will be canceled at any time.

(j) In the case of candidates who have passed MBBS/MD, the candidate must have the certificate registered with the Nepal Medical Council at the time of submitting the application.

Note:

(a) In the case of candidates who require a period of experience, they should have completed the minimum period of service by the last date of receipt of an application for the respective post.
